About

Heather maintains a broad practice serving clients in commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and administration, trusts, and dispute resolution.

She has a particular focus on commercial real estate, commercial leasing, and secured lending, where she advises property owners, landlords, tenants, investors, and lenders on a wide range of transactions and financing matters. Heather brings a results- oriented perspective to every matter she handles, balancing legal considerations with her clients’ commercial and personal objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, Heather practiced for several years at a boutique commercial real estate firm in Toronto, where she was a member of both the commercial leasing and commercial real estate groups. In that role, she represented institutional landlords and large-scale tenants in complex lease negotiations and advised on property acquisitions and dispositions, real estate financings, and land use and development matters. Her experience informs the practical, business-centric guidance she provides to clients.

Heather holds dual JD–MBA degrees from the University of Ottawa and the Telfer School of Management, providing her with a strong understanding of the legal and financial considerations that drive commercial transactions. During law school, she served as an editor of both the Ottawa Law Review and the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law.

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Heather is fluent in English and French and has a working proficiency in Spanish.
